Dear Sir/Madame,
My name is Brian Balfour and have been employed by Sappi Fine Papers for a number of years.
1.I have been coming to your Pinetown Branch for many, many years…..in fact as soon as one of the family has a tyre problem I automatically drive to Supa Quick in Pinetown for assistance.
2.On Saturday morning my Mercedes NPN 35632 had a flat tyre, I used tyreweld and drove to your Pinetown Branch for the problem to be attended to. (New tubeless valve inserted.)
3.On Saturday afternoon I went to drive my car and to my dismay, the very same tyre was flat.(Week-end plans were disrupted and I was actually angry at the developments)
On Monday morning. (20/02/20120)
1. I phoned to complain about the chain of events that had transpired over the week-end.
2. I would like it placed on record that the service and attention that I received from Sean can only be described as excellent, with a genuine degree of empathy being displayed as well.
3. The important issue here, is not the Rand value of the transaction……but the value of the after sales service received.
Just like Supa Quick, Sappi are also in the service Industry with a great deal of opposition on our doorstep. What Sean has done very successfully…..is to turn a customer’s negative experience into a very positive and pleasant experience that I will relate to others.(and my own sales force)
Well done to Sean and your company as “service levels” in general in SA. need to be improved upon.
